I juiced every morning using this recipe, which includes the super food beetroot.
On occasions, I did some green juicing later on in the day, there are countless combination of vegetables, that you can put together to suit your specific treatment issues and vitamin shortfalls.

2 carrots.
1 green apple.
1 piece of ginger.
1/2 lemon.
a teaspoon of olive oil.
The slow juicer which I purchased is: Panasonic Slow Juicer MJ-L600
The benefit of a slow juicer is that it does not heat up the foods that you are processing, which means you are not reducing the vitamin count in the food.
This meal gives a fantastic amount of nourishment and protein to the body.

Do not re heat in the microwave as microwaves may not be good for you. ( do microwaves kill vitamins ? )
Make enough so you can top up when hungry

Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a large pan. Add the onions and cook until soft and golden, about 10 minutes. Add the garlic and chili and cook for 3 minutes, then stir in 2 tbsp of the curry powder and turmeric and keep stirring until you start to smell the spices.
Add the organic tomato sauce and stock and bring to a simmer. Drop in the carrots , cook for 4-5 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the beans and cook until just tender.
Just like to say, I am very proud of my herb garden.
I bought some herbs in pots from the local supermarket, dug them into the garden, covered them with clear plastic boxes, and they all seam to grow ! Under one box I have planted loads of baby carrots .
